Daal Masala is a stable food of sub continent either it is India or Pakistan, but in our country, we not only add little more love and taste to it but also consume it on day to day basis. To make a refreshing Daal Masala, you have to add Milan Foods Daal Masala in your regular Daal to give it an extraordinary taste and aroma.

Ingredients

  • Red Chili
  • Coriander
  • Cumin
  • Mace
  • Cloves
  • Large Cardamom
  • Nutmeg
  • Bay Leaf
  • Cinnamon
  • Black Pepper
  • Small Cardamom
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Salt

Cooking ingredients

  • Oil ½ cup
  • Daal/pulses (of your choice) 1 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Milan Foods Daal Masala 1 packet
  • Green Chilies 4

Cooking instructions

  • Grind Daal (Mong, Chana or Arhar) in a grinder (should not be fine powder)
  • Warm oil and add onions, fry until golden brown.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and Milan Foods Daal Masala and fry it for few minutes until Masala leaves the oil.
  • Now add grinded Daal to it, fry few more minutes until it separates oil. Add few cups of water to make Daal tender.
  • Stop cooking when the Daal is tender and leaves oil.
  • Add any traka of your choice and top it with coriander and green chilies.
  • Serve it with rice, Nan or paratha.
