Cooking ingredients

  • Beef/chicken/ mutton 1 kg
  • Onion 2 medium size
  • Basmati Rice 1 kg
  • Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Green chilies 5 to 8
  • Oil/ Ghee 1 cup
  • Milan Foods Pulao Masala 1 packet

Cooking instructions

  • In a pan, add 1 jug of water (4 glasses of water) chicken and Milan Foods Pulao Masala and boil until the meat is tender.
  • Note: Add 6 glasses of water when cooking mutton/beef.
  • Sieve meat and Yakhni from whole spices and discard all whole spices.
  • In a pan fry onion till golden brown and take out half quantity of onion and keep it separately. Add ginger and garlic, green chilies, rice, and Yakhni and cook on medium flame till water dries.
  • Now simmer on low flame for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Delicious Milan Pulao is ready to be served with remaining fried onions along with Milan raita.
